Bonjour! I'm Jacqueline, an English designer living and creating in the beautiful South of France.

My art weaves together history, fashion, and visual storytelling to celebrate my eternal muse: the captivating, free-spirited Belle Rebelle.

Long before the French sunshine, my creative roots were planted in London.

Growing up during the 1980s New Romantic era, I was enchanted by the spontaneous, creative power of dressing up.

I once even ventured out for the night adorned in a fabulous dress fashioned entirely from my mother's gold curtains!

I left home at eighteen to pursue fashion and illustration, a passion that led to an unforgettable chapter as a costume designer for BBC television.

But the true alchemy happened when a chance meeting at a "Breakfast at Tiffany's" party led to a first date on the Eurostar to Paris, and eventually, a mountain-top wedding in the South of France.

Settling in the historic town of Pézenas, my art became deeply influenced by my immersion into French culture.

On an icy, misty day at Versailles, I could almost see the ghosts of the palace, re-imagining a world where Marie Antoinette and her ladies truly ran the show.

Later, during our Parisian honeymoon, stepping into an illuminated exhibition of my art-school crush, Gustav Klimt, felt like pure magic.

My enduring love of Belle Époque Paris naturally drew me to the captivating, bohemian worlds of Colette and Emma Calvé.

Today, as I paint with my morning coffee in the sun and Kate Bush on the playlist, my dream is simply to share this magic with you.

I want to ignite your curiosity, celebrate the beauty of these captivating women, and inspire you to live as a Belle Rebelle every single day.

My greatest dream has always been to open doors for women through learning.

Today, with every Belle Rebelle creation you welcome into your home, 10% of the profits are donated to W4 (Women's World Wide Web).

Together, we are helping to provide women and girls around the world with the education and technology they need to become fiercely independent.

Before pencil ever meets paper, the story begins. This is where I build the mood for every collection, diving deep into the historical narratives and delicate symbolism of my muses.

By curating vintage photographs, exploring textures, and mapping out early sketches, I discover the bespoke colour palette that will eventually bring each free-spirited woman to life.

It is a process of quiet alchemy, translating the history of a Belle Rebelle into a visual language.
